Video is no longer just an important part of the online experience; increasingly, video is the experience. Social video has exploded rapidly in recent years, and will continue to grow exponentially. In fact, video will account for 80 percent of global internet traffic by 2019, and nearly 1 million minutes of video will be shared every second, according to a report by Cisco.

Facebook is already generating 8 billion video views per day. More than 50 percent of people who visit Facebook in the U.S. every day watch at least one video. Meanwhile, Snapchat reportedly receives 6 billion daily video views—that’s three times what the figure was in May 2015, and Instagram hopes to achieve similar numbers with its new Stories feature. And then there’s the great-granddad of video distribution, YouTube, which has more than a billion users—almost one-third of all people on the internet—and every day people watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube and generate billions of views.

The question is not whether you should be producing social video; it’s how to keep up with the demand and find a way to monetize it.

That’s where min comes in. On Tuesday, November 15th from 1:30-3:30pm, join min editorial director Michele Shapiro and a panel of experts from top-tier magazine media brands for a webinar that will help you determine which types of video you should be focusing on to meet your needs (and those of potential advertisers) and which platforms are best to reach your target audience.

The webinar will benefit magazine publishers, marketers and editors alike.
