Pheedo Claims RSS Ad Revenue Bonanza

Citing 300% ad revenue growth (Q1 2008) in Gawker Media RSS feeds, Pheedo says that RSS advertising is arriving. The publisher of Lifehacker and Gawker blogs has been distributing via RSS for years, but Gawker Media says it saw triple digit growth under the Pheedo ad network solution, which uses a CPM model for premium publishers. The company says it serves over 1 billion ad impressions in the RSS channel each month via its publishing partners.
