Vogue Pairs with JuiceCaster to Deliver Mobile Fashion Videos
Vogue magazine has announced a partnership with JuiceCaster, a social networking service for cell phones, to deliver on-demand mobile videos from ShopVogue.TV through JuiceCaster’s Mobile Video Search (MVS) technology, advertised as the industry’s first search service for instantly accessing video on wireless devices. As a result of the deal, anyone using most video-capable phones can access the video content by texting “SVTV” to 84462, upon which the viewer is given a choice of programs. ShopVogue.TV is an online network that allows users to browse and buy products featured in Vogue’s ad pages, as well as in original video that Vogue creates for the site. The new partnership simply brings these users to users JuiceCaster, which connects users to social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. Consumers can post videos from a cell phone using JuiceCaster, upon which users are able to view the content on various social networking sites, as well as other phones. JuiceCaster thus provides a new outlet for ShopVogue.TV’s content, and, of course, a new opportunity for sales. More Vending Machine
