Ms. Brady has held a range of strategic audience marketing positions including most recently Director of Emedia, where she utilized her skills to oversee outbound communications and drive participant behavior for TechWeb’s Webcast, Virtual Events, magazine subscriptions and online performance based marketing programs. Previously, Philip worked at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he was responsible for its award-winning Loyalty programs. Prior to Starwood, Philip was an executive at Travelocity, where he managed the Travelocity Partner NetworkSM and was responsible for the P&L of the group and Travelocity’s overall white-label/strategic partnerships business. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Philosophy of Religion from Harvard University.

Karthik Krishnan is a seasoned Online Media professional with strong experiences in online strategy, sales management, audience & business development, and technology. He is currently the Director – Interactive Media and Sales Management at Reed Business Interactive and is responsible for improving the financial performance and audience engagement of Reed’s 44 core online brands such as Broadcasting&Cable, Multichannel News, and JCK. For the past 2 years, his brands have been growing revenue at ~2.5 times the industry average while page views are up 25+% YOY.

Prior to joining Reed, Karthik was a Principal at Agilone, a marketing analytics firm. He was responsible for building a relationship marketing practice aimed at maximizing profits by identifying opportunities, and implementing best practices across the customer lifecycle: Acquisition, Development, Retention and Service. He was also with Rodale, publisher – healthy active living magazines and books for over 8 years

He serves on two non-profit boards – NY Public Allies and East River Development Alliance. He was actively involved with the Bill Clinton Foundation. Some of the non-profit initiatives he has worked on include – developing Harlem (New York City) into a business and tourist destination, and Doubling agricultural production in India.

Karthik has an MBA from New York University – Stern School of Business. He received the distinction “Stern Scholar” and was inducted to the “Beta Gamma Sigma” honor society. He has a Bachelors in Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology and was conferred the “Student of the Year” and “Best Outgoing Student” awards.

Prior to this promotion in September 2008, he was Editorial Director of Women’s Digital, for HFM U.S., where he was responsible for Elle.com, ElleGirl.com, WomansDay.com, PointClickHome.com and Premiere.com. He joined Hachette in February of 2007 as the Creative Director of WomansDay.com. Prior to joining Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., he worked at Forbes.com. Hickey is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Annie Howell oversees all communications strategies and media outreach for Planet Green, Discovery Health Channel, Fit TV and two websites (planetgreen.com and treehugger.com). This includes the development of partnership strategies, publicity, multi-faceted communications initiatives and public affairs campaigns for programming and multi-platform assets. Annie was on the team that launched Planet Green.

She was previously Senior Vice President, Communications, in Discovery Communications’ U.S. Networks division, responsible for communications efforts on behalf of the division’s cable networks including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, Discovery Health Channel, Discovery Times Channel, The Science Channel, Fit TV, Military Channel, Discovery Home, and Discovery Kids Channel. Annie managed the U.S. Division talent management unit, the awards unit, communications for the company’s theatrical film unit, Ad Sales, Affiliates Sales & Marketing, the Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership and for the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team.

Annie is a 2008 Fellow of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. In 2009, CableFAX named her PR Person of the Year and she won a PR Week Award for Best Consumer PR Launch of the Year. She was the recipient of WICT’s 2006 Touchstones of Leadership Communicator Award and was on PR Week Magazine’s list of Who to Watch list for 2008.
