Tamara Stewart
Event Marketing Director
Real Simple

Tamara Stewart is Event Marketing Director for Real Simple, having joined Real Simple the brand in 2004 as Associate Director, Special Events. In this role, she develops, manages and executes all of the brand’s signature marketing event programs, including the successful annual Real Simple Holiday Solutions (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), Design on a Dime to benefit Housing Works (2007, 2008) and a series of Real Simple Weddings events at Crate and Barrel locations across the country (2008).

Stewart delivers against Real Simple’s business objectives and brand research in events for all departments, including sales, editorial, consumer marketing, public relations, television, and digital. She works with the publishing team to develop significant event marketing sponsorships for advertisers, manages the design process of all event marketing and sales support materials, and is the contact person for all outside vendors.

Before joining Real Simple, Stewart was Special Events Manager at Time Inc.’s In Style, and has also held positions at Teen People and People magazine. Prior to joining Time Inc., Stewart worked as a product manager at Savvy Records in Atlanta, GA and at EMI Records, Inc. in New York.

She is a graduate of the University of Maryland and currently lives in Bedford, NY with her two children, Kendall and Jordan.
