BIOGRAPHYRoger W. Neal Roger brings deep experience in online content, strategic planning, marketing and publishing. Before joining BusinessWeek, he was director of business development at eBay, where he was responsible for revenue growth through key strategic partnerships. Roger has also held senior positions with AOL and Time Warner. He began his career as a journalist. Roger holds an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. Reporting to Roger is BusinessWeek’s dedicated online business development, technology, product management and ad operations teams. He works closely with the senior management team on both the business and editorial side to leverage the full power of the BusinessWeek franchise. Roger recently lead the development and launch of Business Exchange http://bx.businessweek.com a social media offering that enables users to create, track and share business topics across the web. Roger is a member of the Board of Directors of the Online Publishers Association. In 2008, Roger was named a Top Innovator in Business Publishing by BtoB Media Business Magazine, and was named to MIN Magazine’s Digital Hot List in 2007. |
