BIOGRAPHY
Melissa Parrish is the Director of Community Strategy at Time Inc’s Lifestyle Digital group, responsible for community and social media initiatives across the network’s 11 websites which include RealSimple.com, MyRecipes.com & Health.com. Prior to joining Time Inc. in 2007, Melissa was part of Crayon, a new marketing consultancy, where she managed social media projects for brands like Coca-Cola, American Airlines, and Busch Entertainment. Previously, Melissa was the Senior Product Manager at Meetup.com where she created online products to drive offline local meetings. From 2000-2005, Melissa was the Director of Community & Product Development at Bolt.com—an online community of over 30 million teenagers. Melissa received her BA in Drama and Philosophy from Loyola University New Orleans, holds an MA in Liberal Studies from New School University, and completed an MFA in Dramaturgy & Script Development from Columbia University. |
