2010 Most Intriguing People in Media: Dana Points Steve Cohn
Dana Points
Editor-in-Chief, Parents and American Baby
Being EIC of Parents—the oldest parenting magazine in the country—can be daunting. Particularly if your boss is your predecessor, as Meredith National Media Group New York editorial director Sally Lee ended her 10-year Parents stint in July 2008, one month before recruiting Points. Obviously, Points did her Parents job well, because in December 2009, Lee added American Baby to Points’ responsibilities.
Both Parents and AB are up in advertising, indicating a fruitful 2011 for Points. ● —SC
