As the former editor-in-chief and publishing director of Ladies’ Home Journal (and founding editor and publishing director of More magazine), Myrna Blyth blazed a trail for women’s service publications in print; now she’s doing the same with her Web site, BettyConfidential.com, an online watercooler of original content, social networking and advice targeted to women, ages 18-49. Launched in March 2008, BettyConfidential.com is quickly being recognized as one of the fastest-growing women’s Web sites. And it’s all thanks to a venerable print veteran like Blyth. How’s that for irony?
