For some media marketers, social media is akin to a digital Wild West. That’s not the case for Matthew Yorke, who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to convince colleagues of the importance of incorporating social media into campaign efforts. Earlier this year, Yorke negotiated a pact with Social Media.com to enable IDG to use the platform for social ad campaigns. Client social media programs began last spring, producing over 150 proposals and millions of sales in a five-month period.
