Top 5 Weeklies at the First Half: TV Guide, Us Weekly Are the Percentage Leaders

As we examine the first half (January-June 2011) of the 38 weekly/biweekly magazines that we track at min, less than half the pubs are showing ad-page gains in advertising in 2011 compared to 2010. Five mags show double-digits gain: TV Guide (+31.46%), Us Weekly (+18.20%), The Week (+17.30%), Autoweek (+16.45%) and Bloomberg Businessweek (+15.81%).

Further, TV Guide stands out because two years ago then-owners Rovi Corp. (formerly Macrovision) gave up on it.
