Tim Leong was named Creative Director of Entertainment Weekly in 2016 and oversees the design of the print and tablet editions. Leong is the first Creative Director in Entertainment Weekly’s 26-year history. He joined EW in 2014 as Design Director and was previously the Design Director of Fortune magazine, the Director of Digital Design at WIRED magazine, and the Design Director of Complex magazine. He is also the President of the Society of Publication Designers.
In 2014 Leong wrote Super Graphic: A Visual Guide to the Comic Book Universe (Chronicle Books), which was named one of the Best Books of 2013 by NPR and The Best Art & Design Book of 2013 by Amazon.com.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Journalism, Leong currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife and their son.
