Sarah Gray Miller is Country Living’s New Editor

By Steve Cohn

The Mississippi-born Miller, who won a National Magazine Award while founding editor-in-chief of the short-lived Budget Living (2002-2005), takes the Country Living helm one month after the dismissal of 1998-2008 predecessor Nancy Soriano. Miller joined Hearst Magazines in September 2007 as editor-in-chief of the quarterly O at Home, which, with her leaving, is being absorbed into O.

Miller becomes just the third editor in the 1.626 million circulation CL‘s 30-year history. Founding editor-in-chief (1978-1998) Rachel Newman now lives in Tuscany (Italy); Soriano’s future plans have not been disclosed.
