Quirky displays and signage that bring Quamut's how-to expertise to life will be placed in high-traffic areas like Union Square in New York City, the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Pier 39 in San Francisco and West Lake Park in Seattle. The displays will encourage people to use their cell phones or to go online to Quamut.com to enter the sweepstakes. Displays include:
-- Dismantled bicycles chained to bike racks with tags that read, "How can
you ride this bike again?"
-- Signage at flower and plant stands that reads, "How can you keep us
alive?"
-- Lone hubcaps with tags that read, "How do you fix a tire?"
