Scherri Roberts Promoted to Hearst Magazines Senior VP/Human ResourcesTuesday, January 24, 2012 Hearst Magazines president (since June 2010) David Carey had an active Monday (Jan. 23) in hiring Woman's Day editor-in-chief Susan Spencer and, on the corporate level, in elevating Scherri Roberts to senior VP of human resources.  Roberts was HM VP/director of human resources since Feb. 2007, and Carey credited her for "being instrumental in the smooth and successful integration of the Hachette [Filipacchi Media U.S.] employees in 2011," after the completion of the Hearst purchase. The Temple University alumna has worked at HM H.R. since 2001, with the exception of a 2006-2007 stint as Philadelphia Museum of Art director of human resources.
