Saveur Snags Mel Mooney From Condé Nast

Maryellen “Mel” Mooney has been named New York account director of Saveur. Mooney joins Saveur from Condé Nast Publications, Inc., where she held positions at Bon Appétit and Gourmet magazines for 14 years. During her tenure at Bon Appétit she generated over 410.5 million in additional ad page revenue in 2007 and developed and managed the art department’s advertising and promotion budget. Mooney also served as a freelance associate art director for Gourmet for three years. Condé Nast Publications, Inc. and Bon Appétit named her “Marketer of the Year” in 2001.
