Media People on the Move: Todd Wasserman, Ashley Kinley, et al Todd Wasserman has been promoted to editor of Brandweek and Brandweek.com. He replaces Karen Benezra, who will become the vice president, executive director of Nielsen Trend for The Nielsen Company's NielsenConnect. Promotions at PC Magazine On May 10, Ashley Kinley Kamil was promoted to marketing director for PC Magazine. She will be responsible for overseeing marketing efforts that will both maintain and expand PC Magazine's influence and leadership in the technology magazine world. Kamil, who has been with the magazine as senior market manager since 2004, holds a BA from Franklin and Marshall College. The Wall Street Journal Asia Gets New Managing Editor Christine Glancey has been promoted to managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Asia, effective August 1. She will replace Ann Podd. Currently, Glancey works as chief of the global desk and has worked in various positions at the journal, including, news editor for technology, health and telecommunications, and deputy national editor. MediaVest Hires New Executive Vice President, Managing Director Ken Sacharin has been hired as MediaVest's executive vice president, managing director, in order to oversee Kraft's global account which includes market planning and buying for all Kraft brands. Most recently, Sacharin worked at Dial House, a full service ad agency that he co-founded. His clients included Toyota, Bushmills, and Red Stripe. New Hires at Primedia Primedia has hired Bryan Robb as west coast digital sales manager and Robert Klein as east coast digital sales director for Primedia Automotive Digital. Both will report to Dan Mauch, vice president for ad sales of Primedia Automotive Digital. Mr. Robb and Mr. Klein's collective 25 years of experience in ad sales will aid them as they work to cement Primedia's auto online properties as the leading network for advertisers to connect with auto enthusiasts. Previously, Mr. Robb was owner and president of Optik Marketing Solutions, while Mr. Klein was vice president for Village Voice Media.
