This Old House Publisher Charlie Kammerer Adds Coastal LivingMonday, February 13, 2012 Charlie Kammerer, publisher of the Time Inc. Lifestyle Group's This Old House since 2009, was elevated to group publisher of it and Coastal Living on Feb. 10. Kammerer is assuming some of the the responsibilities of Peter Medwid, who resigned as Coastal Living and Sunset publisher on Jan. 18 to become Martha Stewart Living publisher. Kammerer will become an even more frequent flyer with travel from New York to Coastal Living's Birmingham, Ala., editorial offices added to that of This Old House's Boston tv studio. He oversees the acclaimed This Old House and Ask This Old House television programs, which are produced by Boston PBS station WGBH. Kammerer is also experiencing the unusual contrast of working at Coastal Living, which features very expensive homes with the do-it-yourselfers at This Old House, which last summer held a contest to give away a $45,000 home in North Carolina that was in need of repair.
