Ziff Davis Enterprise Staffs Up Channel InsiderFriday, March 25, 2011 Ziff Davis Enterprise has created a new team of five dedicated to its Channel Insider Web site and services brand. In addition to existing dedicated editor for the site Jessica Davis, Channel Insider will add several staffers with long backgrounds covering the channel, including several former members of rival UBM’s Everything Channel team. Elliot Markowitz, SVP, director of content, spent a decade at Everything Channel print publication CRN. Teresa Varela, senior sales executive, East coast, comes from Everything Channel’s Events Group. Mike Uliss, already on the sales team for ZDE, will manage West Coast Sales. Nancy Oehrlein has been promoted to Director of Client Services, and she, too, has a long history with CRN and VARBusiness at UBM. Channel Insider is designed to provide news, research and analysis to IT solutions providers. The dedicated team will help integrate the brand with ZDE’s other coverage, including eWeek, Baseline and CIO Insight.
