Yahoo Vet Joins Glam Media as B2B Marketing VP

Todd Lombardo, who most recently served as marketing director for the Yahoo Publisher Network, B2B Marketing and Global Insights Marketing Teams, is joining Glam Media as vice president of B2B Marketing.

In this newly created position, Lombardo will be responsible for driving Glam’s overall marketing strategy and communications programs for online advertising products. Lombardo will forge new agency, advertiser, publisher and network partnerships, as well as expand existing partnerships with the world’s leading brands and agencies. Lombardo will report to Josh Jacobs, senior vice president of marketing and ad solutions for Glam Media, who left Yahoo to join Glam in October 2009.
 
“Lombardo is a fantastic addition to Glam Media, bringing invaluable experience and expertise in marketing digital advertising solutions to brands and agencies,” said Jacobs, in a press release announcing Lombardo's hire. “Glam is now a ‘Must-Buy’ and continues to buck the trend in the economic downturn as one of the fastest growing online media companies in the U.S.  Lombardo’s role will be to help brands and agencies capture the growing online audience as time spent continues to moves from traditional media to the Web.”
 
Before joining Yahoo, Lombardo served as vice president of Deutsch in New York and Los Angeles. He began his career at Lowe  Partners, and has worked on clients as varied as Mercedes-Benz, IKEA, Verizon and Novartis.
