Orbon Appointed SourceMedia’s Custom Media LeadWednesday, December 8, 2010 SourceMedia, the publisher of financial industry mainstays such as American Banker and Accounting Today, has appointed Julian Orbon SVP, custom media. Orbon is an industry veteran who served as director of business strategy & marketing for Wax Custom Communications. Before working for WCC, Orbon was on the senior management team at Meredith Integrated Marketing. The appointment indicates SourceMedia’s intention to diversify its portfolio of offerings beyond its current core of subscription-based services. According to company CEO Doug Manoni, “Julian’s appointment is representative of our identification of an opportunity to provide our clients with expanded services and marketing capabilities.” Orbon will be responsible for all custom marketing programs across SourceMedia’s portfolio, which includes financial, health and accounting properties.
