O’Connor to Lead Penton’s Financial Services GroupMonday, September 20, 2010 William O’Connor, the former managing director of Wealth Market Segment at Dow Jones has been named vp, financial services group, Penton. The Penton group of titles includes Registered Rep, Trusts & Estates, National Real Estate Investor, and Retail Traffic. O’Connor will be tasked with exploring new opportunities for this group in the areas of digital, custom and research products. At Dow Jones he was responsible for global strategy and product development for the Wealth Market Segment and before that was vp and general manager of Generate Inc.
