Lynne Segall Named Publisher of The Hollywood ReporterWednesday, June 15, 2011 Lynne Segall, who played a major role in expanding The Hollywood Reporter in the 1990s and early-2000s, is returning to the weekly with her June 14 hire as the Los Angeles-based senior VP/publisher. In her earlier stint, Segall rose to THR VP/associate publisher while creating such ongoing franchises as the Women in Entertainment Power 100.Segall joins THR from Web Publisher PMC Media Corp., where she helped launch TVLine.com in January 2011 to complement Deadline.com, Movieline.com, and the Bonnie Fuller-led HollywoodLife.com. From 2006-2010, Segall was Los Angeles Times VP/entertainment, fashion and luxury advertising. At THR, Segall succeeds Lori Burgess, who, minonline is told, is seeking to remain at corporate parent Prometheus Global Media in a New York-based capacity. Her one-year stint was highlighted by engineering THR's November 2010 overhaul from trade to consumer publication. Burgess is the past New York-based publisher of several magazines, including Seventeen, Elle, House & Garden, Niche Media (Gotham, L.A. Confidential, etc.) and, from 2008-2010, OK!
