Treese Leaves Advanstar

Rick Treese is leaving Advanstar, where he has served as VP and CTO since 2002. Treese¹s last day at Advanstar is April 25. On May 5, he will begin his new post as CTO of TheMarkets.com, which puts together Web platforms for the investment community and is owned by several major investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Citi/Smith Barney, among others. "TheMarkets.com just seemed to be a perfect next step," Treese told Min. "It ties together my media experience and focus on the digital world with my history of building technology platforms at Goldman Sachs."
