Larry Oliver to Lead ABM Recruitment Drive

Hoping to expand on its recent successes in bringing former members back into the American Business Media association of b2b publishers, ABM has contracted Larry Oliver to lead membership development. Oliver, who has worked for Crain, Reed Business Information and Advanstar, will work on a project basi to help drive membership with what ABM calls its new value proposition.

The century-old b2b organization started 2010 by announcing a new set of initiatives aimed at putting ABM at the center of the b2b ecosystem. The group is enhancing its coverage of governmental policies, aggregating industry press releases and research and initiating a series of industry webcasts.

ABM claims that since announcing the new agenda it has “generated a significant trend in the return of former member companies.”
