Top 5 June Monthlies: Family Values Sell

People StyleWatch, launched in 2008, enjoyed a 70% ad-page boost in its June 2009 issue compared to June 2008. Family Circle is doing something right as well, with its 20% gain. Carey Witmer, publisher of FC, tells min that family values are having an impact on the magazine’s success. “Marketers are recognizing that consumers are now focused on what matters most, which is family,” Witmer says. “Our brand has had a longstanding message about value, and in this time when consumers are looking for both ideas for their family and ways to save, Family Circle is the best choice.” (SeeTop 5 Monthlies No Sweat for Meredith)
