Time Magazine's 'The End of bin Laden' Wins a min 'Editorial & Design Award'Monday, November 7, 2011 This morning (Nov. 7), min presented its third Editorial & Design Awards at New York's Grand Hyatt, and a highlight was Time's May 20, 2011, special issue on the May 2 elimination of Osama bin Laden--and the background leading to it--winning in the consumer sector for breaking news coverage. No real surprise, because in the aftermath of the quick turnaround that led to Time's X cover of bin Laden, the May 9, 2011, min called the work the latest of magazine's "finest hours." Click here for more profiles of the winners. In a different sense, InsuranceNewsNet's "finest hour" was its August 2010 "story behind the story" on how Congress passed legislation barring the Securities and Exchange Commission from indexed annuity regulation.
