Longtime marketing head and business development lead at TVGuide.com, editor-in-chief Christy Tanner, has been appointed general manager of the popular entertainment news and schedule site. Tanner will be responsible for the company strategy and day-to-day operations. She has been credited with leading an online team that quadrupled traffic over the past three years to 21 million monthly unique.

As Tanner moves up the executive ladder, others rise as well. Sasha Eysymontt is the new svp, engineering. Brandon DiMassa is svp, business development. Kristen Rasanen is svp, product development.
