SourceMedia Logs Into Research and Data Jim Moore,managing director of research and data, will lead the new unit. Moore had been the chairman and CEO of Highline Financial, where he worked on the Web and database products. SourceMedia says that its user base has always been eager to engage in industry surveys and research projects, and they expect this to form the base of new tools and applications for the financial markets. SourceMedia CEO Doug Manoni says that the new unit and Moore’s hire reflects the company’s longer-range plan to enhance its existing portfolio of brands with a broader set of decision-making tools. SourceMedia publishes the 173-year-old daily American Banker and Investment Dealers Digest. The new research and syndication unit enhances the company's focus on getting its market and b2b data into their clients' daily workflow.
