Postelli To Glam Editorial DirectorFriday, June 29, 2012 A veteran of both print women’s service books and the Tyra Banks company will lead content at the massive lifestyle media firm Glam. Bianca Postelli has been appointed Editorial Director. In the job she will help deepen the social media strategy at the site, which hosts thousands of bloggers and independent publishers. She will also handle relations with the many top tier publisher who partner with Glam. Postelli has experience in a range of service content assignments. She worked at Conde Nast Traveler, Jane, The Daily and Fashion Weekly Daily. She spent two years at Modelina where she is credited with honing the voice and identity of the fashion and beauty site. And before coming to Glam she was digital and social media director for Tyra Banks Company. Her social media skills will come in handy. When Glam’s chief digital officer Erin Matts keynoted the recent min’s Digital Media Summit she outlined a future model where community content and user generated editorial played an even larger role in expanding the reach and depth of the company. Matts said she envisioned a new model where readers and community members were empowered to become more like authors and editors at the site.
