BREAKING NEWS & VIEWS
New York 'Covers' MadoffTuesday, February 24, 2009 First came New York magazine's March 24, 2008, cover of disgraced ex-New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer with a new "brain." Then, on Dec. 2, 2008, came the "bedeviled" Richard Fuld for his $$$/millions in bonuses that led to the Lehman Bros. collapse. Now (March 2) emerges the much more shameful Bernie Madoff (for crimes perhaps $50 billion more expensive than Spitzer's solicitation of a prostitute and a sum that makes Fuld's take look comparatively like petty cash) as a "monster mix" of the Joker and Dracula. What kind of "March madness" will NY mag editor-in-chief Adam Moss deliver this December...and in 2010?
