The number of b2b media deals soared to 14 from three in the year-ago period. The number of b2b online media transactions also jumped to 36 from a scant five. Database products were particularly hot, as this category has shown some of the best resilience to recession declines. Mobile media is also irrepressible, showing 300% growth in deal volume. ![]() JEGI says that strategic buying continues to take the lead, with only 14% of transactions led by private equity.
