Mag on Launching Magazines Set to...Launch managing the business and launching new magazines. The new book is promising how-to features covering all aspects of the magazine business with a focus on making and saving money.“We invite everyone in the magazine industry to join our readership, from the multinational consumer press to niche business-to-business specialists,” says publisher Jon Barrett. “We are contacting tens of thousands of publishing professionals to learn from their experiences, thought and plans.” The new magazine is timed to launch along with the Publishing Expo 2010 in early February in London. The book is also conducting a survey on magazine profitability and innovation that it plans to reveal at the expo.
