BREAKING NEWS & VIEWS
Feldmann Named Teen Vogue PublisherThursday, June 17, 2010 Sabine Feldmann, who had seemingly "stepped down" on March 1 when she ended a three-year stint as Shape publisher/chief brand officer to become Teen Vogue associate publisher, stepped right back up on June 16 with her elevation to VP/publisher. This news comes in the wake of predecessor (since January 2008) Laura McEwen moving intra-Condé Nast to Self VP/publisher following Kim Kelleher's Time Inc. hire as Sports Illustrated VP/global advertising. Opportunity to work at CN was a reason why Feldmann left Shape for Teen Vogue, and now she has an opportunity to again run a magazine. McEwen told min at Feldmann's hire that "Sabine's strengths in the beauty and active lifestyle categories are two that we want to build upon with our 'millennial' [girls born in 1990 and beyond] readership."
