Elise Loehnen Named Beso.Com Editor-in-Chief

Elise Loehnen, an acclaimed "shopping journalist" through her 2004-2011 stint at Lucky,  is the new editor-in-chief of The two-year-old site gives users access to products from thousands of stores, big and small, and, per comScore, attracted more than 3.6 million unique visitors in August 2011.

The Los Angeles-based Beso is a unit of Shopzilla Inc., which operates shopping sites in the U.S., U.K., France and Germany.

Loehnen was New York-based at Lucky where she rose from shopping news editor to--when she left earlier this year--deputy editor under editor-in-chief (since Sept. 2010) Brandon Holley. Loehnen appeared regularly on Today in the How to Shop segment and is coauthor of two books: Lauren Conrad Style  (HarperCollins/2010) and, with designer Celerie Kemble, Black and White (and a Bit in Between). Release by Crown Publishing is scheduled for November 2011.
