David Kurns To Lead Successful Farming EditorialThursday, June 28, 2012 Longtime digital media guru for Meredith’s agriculture journals, David Kurns has been appointed editorial content director for the Successful Farming brands. He will replace 36-year veteran Loren Kruse who will be retiring this summer.Agriculture.com is the flagship online presence for the Des Moines-based Successful Farming, and Kurns has been innovating products for the sites for years. He was among the founding team to launch the site in 1996. Agriculture.com developed some of the earliest and most vibrant professional communities among both consumer and b2b brands online. Kurns has been editor-in-chief at Meredith Interactive Media as well and has with Meredith Xcelerated Marketing marketing services unit where he worked on a number of custom publishing projects for major brands. As head of the editorial projects across the Successful Farming brand he will oversee content for it weekly TV series and radio shows as well as custom content and research.
