It was first reported in the NY Post this morning that Women's Health EIC Tina Johnson has resigned. Min reports that the decision was Johnson's and was due to--apparently--the Rodale Inc. restructuring that has her now reporting to Men's Health editor-in-chief David Zinczenko rather than Rodale president/ceo Steve Murphy. Johnson will remain in the WH office for at least a week after the Labor Day holiday.

Johnson had a great run, with WH's rate base soaring to 1.35 million in its less than three-year existence, and that should make the Teen People alumna very much in demand in an otherwise difficult marketplace.
