Though not the first to capitalize on its archived issues, Brand Republic.com has reported that design magazine Wallpaper is launching an online venture with the goal of selling limited editon, signed prints from the magazine's archives. The project is called Wallpaper Selects and is a collaboration between the magazine and art publishers Eyestorm. All of the photographs up for sale have been exclusively commissioned for the pages of Wallpaper and have never before been available to buy.

Photographers featured in the first collection are Jonathan de Villiers, Mauricio Alejo, Jonathan Frantini, Christopher Griffith, Stefan Ruiz, Daniel Stier, Benedict Redgrove and Joël Tettamanti.

Bondi Digital Publishing helped Rolling Stone and Playboy capitalize on their extensive archives with the cover to cover series in 2007 as well as The Complete New Yorker in Sept. 2005.
