The Audit Bureau of Circulations' monthly Rapid Report (not all publishers participate) and the lousy economy has made people reconsider the "routine" drive to the local newsstand or supermarket to buy a magazine. No shocks accompanied last Monday's (August 11) release of the first-half 2008 Fas-Fax, but plenty of bad news, such as just three of the 20 women' general-interest and beauty/fashion magazines being up in single-copy sales (All You, In Style and Ladies' Home Journal).
