ColorLines Magazine wins Top UTNE Independent Press Award This year marks the first time in the 19-year history of the awards that it was an integrated part of the MPA-IMAG Conference program, which is being held today and tomorrow in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, IL. During the opening night dinner, Minneapolis-based UTNE Reader Editor-in-chief David Schimke and IMAG Board Chairman Bryan Welch, Publisher and Editorial Director Odgen Publications, recognized this year's winners, chosen from 111 nominees in 15 categories of excellence.
