The Atlantic Names Lauf VP-Publisher

Jay Lauf has been named VP-Publisher of The Atlantic, overseeing sales and marketing and the 150 year-old title's multi-platform expansion. Lauf comes to The Atlantic from Conde Nast's Wired where he has been publisher since 2006.

Lauf goes from one wealthy employer Conde Nast Chairman S.I. Newhouse, Jr. to another in Atlantic Media chairman David Bradley. David Carey, Conde Nast Publishing Director who is in charge of Wired, is expected to announce Lauf's replacement shortly.  Read more about the changes in min.
