There weren’t many surprises at the 54th annual Jesse H. Neal Awards held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York. ALM Media took home five Neals, including Best single article, Best Single Issue and Best Department in a magazine. IDG/CXO was the big winner on the digital side at this year’s ceremony, with ComputerWorld winning Best Web Site, Best Blog and Best Online Article or Series (“A Week of Leopard”), all in the largest class (more than 500,000 unique visitors per month). Also, IDG’s CSO magazine editors were presented with the Grand Neal Award for the feature article “Red Gold Rush”. Below is a complete list of finalists and winners (in bold).
