Trump Mag Debuts Heavy With Ad Pages…and House Ads
We counted 52.67 ad pages in this heavy, perfect bound issue. Out of those 50+ pages, however, we counted 16 ad pages for Trump properties, or Trump-related projects (The Apprentice, for one). We’re also not sure if the first feature article in the magazine is an ad or an article. We think it’s an article, but it sounds like an ad. First line: “Everyone’s talking about Trump SoHo Hotel Condeminium New York—a 45-story building in downtown New York, arguably the city’s hippest area.” And this sits across from a nice big ad for Trump Tower Philadelphia. Understood: This is a luxury lifestyle magazine, and Trump SoHo is a valid topic to cover. But we’re not sure if this article belongs at the first article in a debut issue across from an ad for another Trump property.
