Peter Brant Acts Fast: Two New Editorial Directors Named at Interview, et al

Yesterday (1/24), Peter Brant named Fabien Baron & Glenn O’Brien editorial directors of Brant Publications, publishers of Interview, Art in America, and The Magazine Antiques—reported first at fashionweekdaily.com. Baron and O’Brien will oversee all three magazines, effective February 22. This news comes on the heels of the departure of long-time EIC, Ingrid Sischy.

O’Brien will continue on as a columnist for GQ and Vanity Fair Italia. O’Brien got his start at Interview, but has also worked for Spin, Allure, and Harper’s Bazaar, among others. Baron had been French Vogue’s creative director and resigned this week. Yesterday was his last day. Baron got his start at GQ, but has also spent time at Interview, Italian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and others.

No news, however, at this point, on filling the vacancy left at the passing of The Magazine Antiques EIC Allison Ledes on January 8 (Premium).
