E-Content Company FierceMarkets Acquired by Questex Media

Questex Media (Travel Agent, Home Based Travel Agent) has acquired FierceMarkets, producer of 19 e-newsletters and related events. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. acted as FierceMarkets’ financial advisor in the transaction.

Though the FierceMarkets’ products (FierceBiotech, FierceFinance, et al) do not exactly fit with the markets Questex is already in, the company plans on using Fiercemarkets’ toehold in those industries to launch additional initiatives.
