Steve Weitzner Replaces Sloan Seymor as CEO of Ziff Davis Enterprise

After two successful (and tumultuous) years as CEO of CMP Technology, Steve Weitzner was kicked upstairs to an international corporate development position this past November. Today, Weitzner has been named chairman and CEO of Ziff Davis Enterprise, the erstwhile ZD enterprise division, made up of Baseline, CIO Insight, eWeek and related properties. Weitzner will be replacing Sloan Seymour, who was the company’s first CEO.

Ziff Davis Enterprise was formed when Insight Venture Partners acquired Ziff Davis’ enterprise division in June for $150 to $160 million, depending on performance.
