Niche Media Holdings, a publisher of regional city books (Gotham, Hamptons, etc), has a busy year ahead, launching new magazines and a Web site, moving its corporate headquarters, and increasing circulation of its flagship, Gotham magazine.

For December 2007, Niche will be launching Trump magazine, a quarterly with a distribution of 100,000. It will focus on luxury living and “the entrepreneurial spirit,” and be distributed freely to Trump properties and sold at newsstands.  (Niche CEO, Jason Binn, joked with the min team at a recent Gotham party that Poughkeepsie Confidential would be the company's next launch.)

For February, Niche will be expanding Gotham’s circulation from 60,000 to 70,000 copies per issue. CityCenter magazine will also produce two new editions throughout the year, which will be distributed to City Center locations with a base of 150,000 copies of each issue.

October will see the launch of Michigan Ave., a new publication targeted at affluent citizens of Chicago. Focusing on culture and lifestyle, ten publications of 70,000 issues will be distributed.

In September, Niche will launch Niche Online, which will serve as a hub for Niche’s events, featuring footage of over 500 of them, and a portal into the companies’ portfolio of luxury living advice.

Also, June will be the month of a move of Niche's headquarters to 100 Church Street in downtown Manhattan, where the company will take up residence in a 45,000-square-foot building that spans an entire city block; a grand move that matches an ambitious year of launches and changes. Niche will be leaving its 257 Park Ave. South offices.

Perhaps from downtown, Niche will be better positioned to launch the much anticiapted Poughkeepsie Confidential.
