Anthony Licata Is Promoted to Field & Stream Editor

The deputy editor (since 2006) succeeds Garden & Gun-bound Sid Evans (min, October 29, 2007). Field & Stream/Outdoor Life group publisher Eric Zinczenko tells min that after a one-month search, Licata "was the clear choice for the job. Anthony is a very talented editor and a total outdoorsman who is a passionate hunter and fisherman."

Licata is a nine-year F&S veteran who steadily rose through the ranks. As deputy editor, he was in charge of the 2007 National Magazine Award-nominated Sportsman's Notebook, and he was also the on-air host of The Total Outdoorsman Challenge--a three-part special that aired on Versus earlier this year.
