ALM, a media publisher in the business and law sectors, announced today the signing of a lease for 90,000 square feet of office space at 120 Broadway, The Equitable Building, in Manhattan, on the 5th and 6th floors.

The company currently has offices at several locations across New York City that will be consolidated in their new space; phased occupancy is expected to start in July 2008. The company’s space at 345 Park Avenue, South, 105 Madison Avenue and 333 7th Avenue will be relinquished.

ALM’s parent company, Incisive Media, a London-based financial and marketing services publisher, will also be moving to the location, bringing with it the majority of the company’s New York City-based personnel under one roof.

The move occurs just several months after Incisive acquired ALM from Wasserstein & Co. in July for $630 million in cash, and furthers Incisive’s efforts to build a greater presence in North America. The building itself just completed a $60 million renovation project.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
