Joe Lagani Leaves CN's House & Garden for GlamLiving
Lagani is husband to Cosmopolitan publishing director since August 1995, Donna Lagani. He is also brother to Dan Lagani, president of the Fairchild Fashion Group. Glam and Cosmo have an 18-month-old editorial relationship, which suggests that Lagani had knowledge through marriage of the operation. Very superficially, he says. "While Donna's involvement put Glam.com on my radar, I knew nothing about it until I was contacted. I wanted to build a business, and launching GlamLiving for Glam.com gives me the opportunity. I had an enjoyable three years at H&G and CN, and a great boss in [president/CEO] Chuck Townsend who was wholly supportive of me." Earlier in his career, Lagani was publishing director of Meredith Corp.'s Traditional Home/Country Home/American Baby.
